Monday Throwing Evening Class

Whether you’re new to throwing or have dabbled before, our Monday Evening Classes will help you to gain confidence and create pots you’ll be proud of! Taught to a high standard by professional makers, you’ll get to grips with techniques to create great pottery.
Running over six weeks, this block of evening classes will focus on throwing with stoneware clay. The pots will be glazed in a simple, beautiful selection of glazes and fired in the gas kiln.
You will make for 5 weeks, and glaze your creations in week 6 on 17th February.
Taught by Professional potter and Clay College Cohort 2 Graduate, Sharon Lea, by the end of the course you will have gained a basic understanding of processes and techniques on the potter’s wheel.
