Monday Hand-building Classes Spring 2025

Block begins Monday 3rd March and ends on 7th April

Join us this Spring to learn how to hand build functional and sculptural pots without using a potters’ wheel in this relaxed class. Limited to 6 people, you’ll have plenty of one to one direction, and as your confidence increases we will support you to create your own projects.

Taught by resident potter and Clay College Technical Tutor, Will Broughton, participants will learn how to create professional-looking pots using slab and coiling techniques.

This class is suitable for beginners and returners.

Over 6 weeks, students will make a pot a week, learning from the results as they go. By the end of the course, students will have gained invaluable tips and tricks to create hand-built pots and take home a collection of fantastic hand-made pottery.
