Wednesday Hand-Building Evening Class with Professional Potter Will Broughton

Join us this Spring to learn how to create amazing forms without the use of a potter’s wheel in our hand-building course!

Taught by resident potter and Clay College Technical Tutor, Will Broughton, participants will learn how to create professional-looking pots using slab and coiling techniques. The classes are run on a project basis and will build upon the previous week’s skill base as participants gain confidence and independence.

Unleash your inner creativity and explore exciting 3D forms in a relaxed setting amongst a small group of students.

This class is suitable for beginners and returners.

Run over 6 weeks, students will make a pot a week, learning from the results as they go. By the end of the course, students will have gained invaluable tips and tricks to create hand-built pots and take home a collection of fantastic hand-made pottery.

Please note: students must allow time towards the end of the class to clean their work-space and leave the premises by no later than 9.00 pm.
